I heard a story this morning that had me rolling in painful fits of laughter, but after I was done laughing I realized it wasn’t funny and that in reality it could happen to anyone of us.
We all know someone, or have heard of someone or possibly might have been that someone who fell in love with a married man who was one day going to leave his wife or was just staying with her because of the kids. *Yawn* I can’t believe that story still gets air time, Im gonna be honest. But I don’t want to talk about that story i want to talk about this one that had me laughing so hard.
A friend of a friend who knows me, was telling me and my other friend about his friend who happens to be a girl. This girl met a man and fell in love with him and wanted to take the relationship to the next stage. Now instead of giving her the old story about him being married and he was going to leave his wife soon, he lead her on to thinking she was his one and only. Mr went as far as to propose to Miss Lady, she was excited she finally met her Prince Charming and he had asked her to marry him, he even bought her a ring. Men are catching on the whole ring movement, Beyonce said put a ring on it if you love it and the boys went out and bought the rings. Trust me I have a bunch of rings, but that’s another story for another day and maybe to a different audience, lets keep this story moving along shall we.
So the young lady got a ring and was planning her wedding, thanks to MF’s like Facebook and the internet and also due to the fact that it’s a small world. Somebody knew somebody, that knew her and of her wedding and also happened to know Mr Man’s Wife, YESSS LAWD!!! (Yess Lawd is an exaggerated exclamation for Oh My God) So Mr Man is married , he’s been engaged to his new young lady for almost two years constantly making excuses and changing the wedding date. Now my lovelies are you ready to gasp like you’ve never inhaled before? Within the two years that he was engaged to Miss Lady he had a baby with his wife.
The above story tells so many stories, he cheated on two women at the same time, he committed what I think is the ultimate sin, that nigga broke the code, lol.
I laughed at the story but I wasn’t laughing when I heard it wasn’t the first time a guy engaged a woman to shut her up. Im later being told that some men have no intention of getting married, but they also have no intention of being nagged to death, by some woman they happen to live with and like having sex with. Hey it could happen to anyone.
Made me think what an awful race of people we’re becoming, Human interaction is so flawed at this point that trust is not only stupid, it’s dam near dangerous. It’s more dangerous to trust someone, than it is to speed while not wearing your seat belt (dnt quote me on that) I wish life were easy, I wish we could meet people and have the same intentions or better yet have intentions that can work together. Then fall in love and not worry about all the other elements like cheating, lying, deception, the outside children, gosh there are so many outside elements that I wish human interaction didn’t have to deal with, too much bullshit. Why is it that when you kiss someone you get swept off your feet into a soft breeze and they don’t feel a thing? I will never understand this world, and I won’t even try, Im just gonna sit here and survive and when my time is up, I will leave willingly.
